It's been forever since I updated, because not much has been going on with the film. I've been busy with a lot of other work, but I have gotten a few really amazing emails from people who watched the rough cut and liked it. Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to watch the film and respond to me. It's already been a better experience than I could have ever imagined, so everything after this is just an added bonus.
The next update will probably be about film festivals. We are starting to think about festivals. We really want people to see this film, so we are going to do everything we can to get it on the big screen in front of people. If you have any suggestions, or feel like helping us out, please email
info@kissingonthemouth.com and let me know. Thanks.
Many DVDs have been sent out, and I'm kind of killing time waiting to get some feedback. I've heard some really nice things back from some people, so that boosts my spirits. I'm giving myself a little distance from the film before I go back in for the final tweaks and modifications. I'm very excited. I really hope people like it.
I made a trip to the post office today and sent out 8 copies of the film to different people. I'm really looking forward to the feedback I get, because I know the film needs a little work, but I feel a little too close to it to really know exactly what's missing. I'm hoping some of the people who look at the cut can articulate what they feel is lacking from the film in it's current version.
We are probably going to shoot a scene later this week. I'm kind of looking forward to shooting again, because I don't want the film to be over, but at the same time, I'm really hoping it doesn't lead me into another month of production or anything like that.
